July has been a big month for Wide Eyed Productions.  Our production for FringeNYC 2011, Goldilocks and the Three Polar Bears, is already in rehearsal and it's going to be awesome!  More on that soon. THE RETURN of "TOODLES!" Wide Eyed Productions is teaming up with River Wide Productions to create a short film based on the hit show "The Return of Toodles Von Flooz" by Lisa Ferber! We've started a Kickstarter campaign to raise the necessary "cold hard cash" needed to shoot and edit this wonderful piece of work. Any amount is appreciated! The Trojan Women opens tonight at the Kraine Theater.  Curtain is at 7:00 p.m.  As we'd like for as many of you to see this production as possible, tonight it is Pay-What-You-Can at the door.  To entice you, we present our fine, upstanding cast in a moment of candor for your perusal.

The cast party afterwards will kick off across the street at Stillwater.  We'll see you tonight.

Casting: 'Goldilocks and the Three Polar Bears'

Wide Eyed Productions with PlaylabNYC is casting Goldilocks and the Three Polar Bears (by Jerrod Bogard; music by Sky Seals), a 50-minute musical play for kids and families from the creators of Jack and the Soy Beanstalk.

Goldilocks and the Three Polar Bears will be performing at the New York International Fringe Festival August 12 – 28, 2011. Rehearsals begin in July.  AEA showcase pending.

BREAKDOWN:

Goldilocks – (puppeteer/singer/actor) The role of this bratty little beauty is performed in the style of Avenue Q, the character being a Muppet-style puppet. Puppetry experience strongly suggested but not required.

Poppa Bear – (singer/actor) Male. Large presence.

Baby Bear – (actor/singer) Female, quirky character/unique sense of humor.

Auditions will be held in mid/late June by appointment only.
